About me

I bring learning to life through imaginative teaching. With over 10 years' experience in early years settings, both in Norway and the UK, I visit pre-schools and primary schools (age 5 - 7) to inspire little minds using beautifully detailed small-world models from farms and zoos to seaside scenes.
Through stories, songs & dance, play and exploration, I help children learn about animals, nature, and the world around them in a fun, engaging, and educational way.
What can you expect during my visit:
- Animal facts: short, age-appropriate snippets about habitats, food, behaviour and welfare
- Environmental issues & recycling: how to make our world a better place
- How is it made: Step-by-step using prints (from tree to paper, from fleece to wool, from wheat to pasta, etc.)
- Songs & Rhymes: action songs and rhymes from my own book, reinforcing learning and memory skills
As the children will be gathered around my small-world models (preferably seated on the floor), I will need to limit their number to a maximum of 25 per session.
